The BASE HRA+ (Health Reimbursement Arrangement) is an employer-funded plan that reimburses an employee for family medical expenses.
Employees pay their health care expenses and the employer then reimburses the employee up to the maximum, which is set by the employer. Dollars not utilized remain with the employer.
Eligible medical expenses include, but are not limited to, doctor visits, prescriptions, dental, vision, over-the-counter and much more.

Pre-Tax Premium Deduction Options
Regardless of benefit packages offered by employers, employees have

have the ability to assist employees with this overwhelming expense
whether they offer health care benefits or not. With the pre-tax
premium deduction options available, employers are able to offer an
affordable menu of benefits. The following options will allow
employees to take home more pay because the deductions for these
plans are made before taxes are applied.
Health Care Premium Reimbursement Plan (HCPR)
If no corporate group health plan is utilized, employees can obtain their own health care insurance and have the option to pay for it on a pre-tax basis through payroll. This will help the employee save approximately 25% on every dollar spent toward individually owned health care premiums.

Premium Only Plan (POP)
For those employers who provide group health care coverage and other
voluntary products, this plan allows premiums to be paid pre-tax through payroll
reduction for the employee portion of the health insurance premium.*
